Tips for amateurs
In order to get the best possible start in the worlds most modern amateur community, we've collected the best tips and tricks for new amateurs. Things you should keep in mind, when it's your goal to make some good money with your pics and vids.
What content sells best?
Everything that makes a real honest and natural impression will sell by itself, as long as it's obvious the main characters are having fun people will love your stuff. Don't do anything you won't find exiting yourself, the community members will notice and if there's one thing they don't like, it's fake stuff. These people are here for real erotic, not some cheap porn movie setup.
What video and picture size is allowed?
Files, you're planning to upload, can't exceed the maximum size of 500 MB. This cause for both pictures and movie files. Uploaded pictures will automatically be compressed by our review team and optimized for the visitors of our amateur community. Videos need to have the right size straight away, the lenght of the movie isn't important, size is.
Do I need to edit my pics and/or vids?
We can only advice you to keep your pictures and videos the way they are. Of course we can't forbid you to edit or optimize your content, professional content will be deleted though as we're an amateur community and not some professional porn portal. The only thing you do need to keep in mind is the maximum size (see previous point). If necessary you can compress your video files to a max. of 500 MB. If that's not possible, the content can't be uploaded.
How many pictures in a set and what the max. length for a movie?
A picture set needs to contain at least three pictures, a video needs to have a minimum lenght of 10 seconds. If you're planning to make some good money with your own content, we do advise you though to use videos with a minimum lenght of 5 minutes, 10 pictures in a set will do the trick as well.
What about the quality of my pics and/or vids?
Of course it's important for the visitor he or she is able to recognize whats on the picture, a poor quality picture won't do you any good at all. Bad quality will simply cost you money and it won't be the best thing to build a strong reputation. Pictures and videos that are to perfect don't fit the amateur feeling we're maintaining and will be deleted automatically.
What's the best way to present my pics and/or vids?
It speaks for itself you need to use a recognisable preview picture. Important, make sure the picture has a good quality and makes the visitors curious, once you've got them going the money gets closer. If you're not using a preview picture, we'll take a screenshot of the first frame in your movie, or the first picture in your set. You'll be able to edit the picture to get the best possible quality.
How cheap or expensive can I be?
Hard to say, it's obvious that longer videos and bigger picture sets are more expensive than the smaller ones. Decide for yourself what price fits the content you're offering, if you want to sell more use a higher price, if you want to sell less than simply raise the price and offer better quality content instead. Finally, promoting your content and our site will have a positive result on your turnover. The more people knowing this community, the more clicks to your galleries/sets your creating, sign up as a member and raise your turnover. The more people know you within amateurcommunity.com and the more you promote our community, the bigger the chance of raising your turnover. Post your profile and personal page in boards, mention the community while chatting with people, tell your friends and family about the community, add links to your page and raise that profit.
